again the cu.imt.net/~sounddoctorin/synthtec link should have info.  
There is a mod to up the gain.  But the sensor strips are known to go 
dead so that's likely the problem.  I haven't tried to recondition one 
before.   Mine worked marginally before I sold it.  My Kurzweil one is 
getting bogus.  Need to fix it someday. -Bob
