[sdiy] favorite lin/log convertor? (Moog-Korg interface)

Hello all,

I am only the latest to run into the East vs. West, American vs. Japanese
battle for total control of oscillator frequencies...

just to confuse me further, I see that my MS-10's oscillators output a very
friendly -5V to +5V Oct/Volt CV... however there seems to be no getting
around the VCO CV input and its fiendish demands of 0V-+8V Hz/V signal.

Are there any tricks to defeat this without extra hardware (checked the AH
archives with no luck)

I know there are MIDI->CV boxen with Hz/V output, but I am trying to keep
this strictly analogue.
Specifically I'd like to use my x0xb0x (303 clone for the few who might not
know) as a controller.
Unfortunately for this application, the 303 lives in Moogland, although it
only puts out +1 to +5V (odd for a "bass" instrument?)...

so forgive my ramblings, ultimately I am asking:

what's the best way to get an MS10 to grok CV input in Moogs? If I have to
build it myself, so much the better.. ;-)

Thanks,

Amos
