We are going to create a run of these.  Aluminum, brass, or black/white 
delrin are available.  Basically they will have a 1/16" pilot hole which 
you can jam #14 wire into for repairs where your threads have busted off 
(as is common with Korg sigma, delta, lambda for instance and I'm sure 
others.  My Crumar Trilogy is probably similar.  Haven't looked...) 

They are available with a ball end mill ground end (So that your fingers 
can actually have ultimate grip on the thing which is useful on the 
sigma where you are trying to control two of them at once with one 
hand), OR with a lighter machined concave depression, or with a convex 
top more like the original Korg units.  We were figuring $12 each but if 
we can get some more orders we can get some quantity discount going. -Bob
