I got a Texas Instruments digital watch (LED, had to push a button to tell time) in the mid-70s. Wore it to EE class where the grizzled prof snorted: "You know what a digital watch is good for? It tells you the wrong time *exactly*". Haven't worn one since :) Paul S. Seiko Kinetic, calibrated to GPS
