... but I decided I need another big project to keep me
occupied (;->), so I'm going to start another
matrix based machine.
Though still inspired by the EMS concept a lot, it will not be an
attempt to make circuits close to the original, but use a lot of
my own solutions - so this time I can publish a lot of the schemos
in the progress of building.

At the moment, I'm in concept phase. Just did the most important
step, choosing the signals that will go in and out the 20x20
matrix. A first sketch of this can be found here:

As you see, it's very heavy on FX rather than on sound generation.
Two frequency shifters included ("SSB modulators"), both
modulated by OSC 1 (which will be built as quadrature VCO).
So finally my "Dual FS" concept
(http://www.oldcrows.net/~jhaible/jh_fs2/jh_fs2.htm)
will find the right home within the Matrix FX, too.

More to come. Suggestions for changes in Matrix layout welcome -
nothing is fixed yet.
