I wanted to make a theremin. I found simple schematics, but getting it
stable was harder then I thought. I couldn't get the volume to work
due to all the HF that kept leaking, which turned the LED in my vactol
on.
So I went for the instable version. In fact, I combined it with a
cracklebox. It's hysterical.

It uses TL082 as oscillators, 4011 NAND to make the difference tones.
TL062 as low pass filters, a LM386 as an amp, and a trafo, so the line
output doesn't confuse the circuit. Nothing fancy. Really noisy.

Here's an mp3.

And some photo's.
