[sdiy] Bending CD players

Hey all,
I got a cheap-o DJ CD Player on eBay and I'm wondering if anyone has any
experience bending these.  Trying to monkey with the pitch controls so I
can adjust more than just +/- 10% and maybe also some options to feed some
of the non-audio data (time code stuff) into the audio path, induce
interesting skipping, whatever.... Since it's not battery powered I am not
as comfortable with the exploratory method (although I have a made a few
careful forays).  There is a site:

really help me out.
