[sdiy] OT: Silicon Valley. What's on?

Hello everyone,

I am going to be relocated temporary (6 months) in Santa Clara, in the Silicon Valley (within a months time) and was wondering if any of you know the area and could give me some clues of what is going on there Synthwise and also non-synthwise.

Suggestions about clubs, bars, music shops and pawn shops where 10-bucks-fully-working-TB303 can be found would be very appreciated ;-)
