i'm going to try and be at this one this year, since i missed it last 
year, and missed synth-diy cambridge this year (but not last), so i 
may as well pitch in with the germans in '05, and i will be trying to 
bring some of my own hardware too, in the spirit of it all ..

it might be fine to compare german and english knobs.
