Perhaps you could create a zoetrope-oscillator, instead of the CCD
feeding-back on itself, allow it to "look" at a recirculating loop of paper
tape with your waveform written on it. Perhaps with a very wide loop with
multiple tracks, you could draw multiple waveforms stacked vertically one
atop the other and have a paper "wavetable" -- position the CCD so that it
can only see one track or another... or pan it up/down for
wavesequencing.... Neat idea!
