[sdiy] Looking for app notes and/or spec sheet for CEM3381

I just discovered that three old Alesis Micro effects that have been
gathering dust in a corner each have a CEM3381 dual VCA chip. Time to add
some VCAs to my modular! However, I've been googling around for appropriate
schematics, and rather to my surprise I haven't found anything. Yes, I
probably haven't been trying hard enough. :-)

Does anyone have schematics, application notes, magazine articles, or
anything else that would show me how to build these guys into modules? I'm
thinking about a dual VCA or two and maybe a VC panner...
