I bet if you made a post-amplifier from a few paralleled inverters
(like the 4069) you would come close in a simulation.  I used the
generic NMOS and PMOS transistors to make such an inverter, and
it works quite a bit like the real 4069.

National Semiconductor had an app note about linear uses for cmos,
including a post amplifier. Maybe that will give you some ideas
