whoops - trying to find the parallel caps (which I still can't), i pulled
out my prints and noticed i'm full of c at p.  the Easel didn't use the
discrete comparator on the flyback - it in fact had a 311.  I also thought
he'd abandoned the diode sine shaper on the 259, but he had not.

If you're bold enough to analyze Buchla drawings one must embrace his
calligraphy.  Remember - lines short only on the 'T', -  ones that cross
each other do not make electrical contact.
