At work, In the days when most of me was still working. We had a device 
called "The apprentice" we use to use for discharging caps. Worked every 
time. We discharged a hell of a lot of caps into the poor bastard.

In fact it worked so well I'm surprised Nige didn't change his name to 
"Bleed Resistor."
