[sdiy] how does one make a pot CV controllable?

Hi Guys,

New to this list and new to electronics. (Why did I study chemistry again?)
I built a couple of MOTM/Blaclet/Tellun modules, a p3 sequencer and now I'd like to do some stuff of my own.
I'd like to start with an easy stereo mixer(TL074 opamp). I'd like to make the pan pot CV controllable.
Well, actually I want to know in general, how does one make a pot CV controllable?
Any resources on this?
