[sdiy] modern replacement for 556 op amp?

You guys tickle me!  Lots of old electronotes projects call for 556
opamps.  I think it's an early low noise model.  Here's a link with some

	Use two 555 timers, the 556 is a dual timer.
	
	(hope you're not confusing the 566 function generator)
	
	Google should have many links to the data sheets.
	Both timers are still in production iirc...
