a rather boring question, but
what is the difference between a quadrature and normal oscillator?

in the modular i've been designing i'm i'm going for multifunction boards as much as
possible, so that pushbuttons can switch :: filter -> oscillator -> env
gen -> quantizer -> etc...  if the same i/o scheme is used on every module
very fast patch changes can be made by pushing buttons rather than
disconnecting/connecting things.  possibly very useful live.

excellent to see another potential oscillator/filter combo.

what are some other clever multi-function circuits?

-a
