Using the linearizing diodes ~guarantees~
that you will have big offset troubles. The simulation
can be trimmed easily to remove them.
Probably the real one will work as well.
Now, offset variation with Gm bias might be
another story. I bet some work and some don't
work as well.
Spice can't tell you that :^P
