hello,
I just stumpled about the idea of modifing (my loved) drum maschines
2-3 weeks ago.
I found my first mod with the TR707 (and the group around it), but
for the first steps on my own the mr10 seems ideal.

it has:
preset rhythms, but no clock input AND a start/stop-button
- a sync input could be a first step to integtrate it into a setup

bd, sn, ht, lt and cymbal have 'pad' to trigger them / there is a bd-
pedal input
- it should be quite easy to trigger them
(it seems like the 'pad'/ pedal is a simple switch
- but the 'drumcomputer' will probably work with triggers - and:
there are more sounds/variations than buttons.. rim? closed hh.. )

bd and hh/cymbals (can be tuned and) have a knob each for adjusting
volume..
- individual outs should be easy..

this is what I was thinking.. the service manual seems to be 15-20$/
eur and the mr10 won't open for me.. (I opened it, but maybe it's
clued?)

any help is appretiated - a service manual would be great..

with compliments,
benjamin wild
