[sdiy] Minimoog stuff

Hi all,
I have a couple of questions:
What is recommended at a contact cleaner for mini pots
and keyboard contacts - there is a lot of spirited discussion
about this I know, but what have restorers have good results with?
Iso - p?
Lube grease for the keyboard bell caps? I have heard that DC-7
is the stuff to use but not so readily available in the UK
anyone got any good alternatives?
Also, revamping my oscillator board and just want to check up
on something.
I have the old osc board and I am replacing the 741s, I notice that
IC3, IC5 and IC10 all have little red selection dots, on every board
I have seen where as the other 741s dont.
I am assuming that these three dotted ICs are specially selected
as clean and that modern versions will be clean or compensated
anyway? Interesting that the other ICs all have corroded legs
and the dotted ones dont, lower quality?
Can anyone comment on this? Anyone changed these ICs before.
Finally parts, I am looking for pots for my mini, preferably A&B type
J, alternatively Clarostat RV4:
I need urgently:
1M log
5M log especially
also:
a few 5K lin
25K lin just incase
Also after a couple of mini name badges, the original vinyl type ones,
I have found screen printed aluminium but not sure about these.
Hope someone can help
TIA
regards...
Keith
