Hi!

I used these chips quite a lot in our company for audio matrices and mixers
(with summing resistors on the lines and a summing amp behind the matrix chip).
Works fine!

My universal MIDI interface for synths with keyboard matrix also has these chips
built in. I simulate the keyboard matrix with it (decoupling diodes added of
course). I built these interface into my Korg Poly61 as my keyboard contacs are
very bad... Woks also very fine - so also useable for TTL or CMOS signals. And
due to the bandwith the usage of this chip is also open for video applications.

I use the PLCC44 version of the chip...

Another chip I used before was the MT8812 in DIP40. Also a nice part.

The control in both designs has been realised with an 8051-family microcontoller
programmed with ASM and PLM51.

Ciao
Peter
