[sdiy] room acoustics question

I suspect that with very high levels, the ear
may be unable to discriminate binaurally
as well as at lower levels. So if there was
location confusion caused by echoes, that might be
reduced.
I have noticed myself, that when multiple voices
in a highly reverberant dining room reach a
high level, I suddenly lose all directional
perception.

once you are up at those levels, you shouldn't really
be thereat all, of course.
