I second this. Business is business and and a hobby is something you
do to keep you . . . You!. I've been doing a electronics since I was
pre-teen. I used to love playing with electronics parts. I learend
to solder by desoldering parts with a wood burning set.
When it became time to get a job, I had several go nowhere jobs. I
got a chance to work electronics in the military and took it. The
job in electronics was great. It allowed me to pay for musical
instruments to indulge in my interest in music. It gave me time to
paint (but not too much time - I think limiting time results in
better art) and the money to support the family. It did however,
kill any real interest in doing electronics for a hobby. If I though
about electronics off duty, it was thinking about a problem that I
hadn't solved at work.
When I retired from the military and started selling real estate,
electronics became the perfect hobby. I could work in the shed on a
synth module and ignore the insanity of the commercial life.
I'm afraid the closely related feilds as business and hobby may
never work. If yoou try, the rest of your life may suffer.
