If soldering is too boring for you to do, I suggest you do not start a small
business, unless your business plan includes enough working capital to hire
someone to do the small-business tasks that are far more boring than
soldering. As other people have mentioned, a huge amount of your time
disappears into accounting, record-keeping, tax calculations, inventory
management, and other tasks which to me make soldering seem downright
fascinating.
I have a book somewhere that puts it succinctly: enjoying making pies
doesn't mean you'll like running a bakery.
