Are you getting a signal at VR8? What you've described coming from the
ba6110 sounds correct to me, pin 4 is the input for the gate signal so it
should move as notes are triggerd. Pin 1 is one of the inputs, I'm not 100%
sure you should be able to get a signal from that with a pair of phones tho.
However, if you get a signal at VR8 and nothing at the outputs than you have
a problem with the mixer section.
