Ah, the formula was based on the ESQ1 timing: 8MHz DOC input clock, 8
cycles per "oscillator slot" with 24 active oscillators (8 voices*3
oscs) plus 2 extra slots for DRAM refresh (which can't be switched off,
even if unneeded).
