For the record...I for one will NOT be doing anything as small as SMD for a
reason already touched on--eyesight. If someone wants to buy me a low-power
binocular microscope then maybe I'll reconsider. I can't afford one as I'm
disabled and have no real income. In fact, while you (my hypothetical
benefactor) are at it you'll have to buy me a rework station, the ESD-proof
working area, new parts inventory, etc., because I don't have the money for
all this.
I do have a lifetime supply of tin/lead solder...
