Roy, you have a very valid point here. as someone who is 2 meters (6 foot 7)
tall, i personally hate all this miniature stuff.. for my big hands,
thru-hole components are already supersmall sometimes.. i have a hell of a
time with those crummy little mixers these days because i can't touch one
knob without hitting 4 others. cell phones, digital camera's.. nice gadgets,
but almost impossible to operate.. it's why i love working on old gear:
plenty of space for my hands.
and i won't even start about the 90 % of all cars that my long legs don't
fit in.. even european ones...
