It's a simple "ring modulator": outputs of both DCOs are XORed.
If you want to know how it sounds you have to ask Laurie Biddulph.
I don't know - I coded this feature but never had a switch in my
model unit to activate it...

That's right.
The "regular" mode needs no explanation.
In the "random" mode:
- if you select the square wave, you get a "sample&hold" LFO waveform;
- if you select the triangle wave, you get a "random triangle" LFO
waveform (which is my own invention).

A general transpose switch (one octave down) for both DCOs.
> On the DCO, what is range (up/down)?
Individual transpose switches (one octave down) for each DCO.
