[sdiy] Future SYNTH-DIY/breadboard

I gotta admit, that is a nice lookin' board. Yesterday I wired up two modules (16 jacks apiece). It took me a long time. Looks like a time saver. It just dawned on me that when using SMT there is usually a PCB made for each module. It's cheaper to make a bunch than a few. So maybe more designers will start selling PCBs of their creations? I may still prefer to build on breadboard from the schematics. It may make the leap to SMT a whole lot more enticing if there is an influx of small run PCBs... though...your (or whoever's) pot/jack placement may/could/probably would be different than mine. Panel conformity = sucks.

Your pcb is quite inspiring, though.

Thanks,
peng

any pot can be replaced without taking the PCB off the panel.
And traces on the other side can be found in documentation.
see what I mean:

the jacks are wired, but it's next step to get rid of those wires too.

yes, but IMHO it has more benefits than drawbacks.
