[sdiy] Yamaha GS/CS card reader?

One of my uncompleted projects is a GS-1 ROM library made up by using my
GS-1 reader to load voices into some DS1220 non-volatile RAMs, transplant
the RAMs into my programmer, then store the voice sets as .bin files. I
got as far as installing DS1220s into the controller board but due to the
very strange power supplies of the GS-1, the DS1220s won't enable. I need
to power them from a supply that provides about 0.5V more (negative) than
what the RW board provides.

Anyway, with the voices thus turned into useful files, they can be put
into ROM alongside enough microconroller code to emulate the card reader
I/O.
