[sdiy] OT: grammar, spelling and communication

That's one thing about English: There is an exception to pretty much EVERY
rule. I'm a native English speaker, but I would think that the mish-mash of
Latin, Germanic, Celtic and other languages must make learning English (for
a non-native speaker) an absolute PITA. My hat is off to any of you who have
learned English as a second language.
