Analog Devices recently announced new analog process called iPolar,
that alows 36V circuitry in 1/4 of the silicon space used before.
That may help the greedy ones to think about 36V again.
So far they plan to make equivalents of OP27, OP07 and some others
AFAIR. High voltage analog won't die anytime soon.
