[sdiy] Tempco group buy

Hey, maybe everybody else wants to do a panic buy for OTAs... why not
do a panic buy of tempcos? Ok, we don't need to panic, but we can buy
tempcos anyway.

I spoke with Steve of KRL-Bantry components today. The bad news is they
recently run out of C-2AQ, lead time is probably 6-8 weeks. Good news
is that if we buy 100 pieces, that they will be $1.80 each, which I
think is quite good. It was towards the end of the business day here
when I was able to call him, he said he'll double check current stock
status and times early next week, so I will have a more definate answer
monday.

Other tempco values are possible, but I don't have anybody committing
to those, so it's just 1k for now. To clarify, the C-2AQ range from
3200ppm (-55c to +25c) to 3500ppm (+25c to +125c) . They call them a
3500ppm part, but temperature wise they average to 3350, which is close
to ideal. I can get other resistance values (ie 2k or whatever), but
it'd probably be lesser quantity. So other values would cost more, and
I'd need more of a firm commitment for those.

There are a few people who have expressed interest to me in getting
some the 1k tempcos. I will get at least 100, more if people want them.
This is not for profit, I'm selling them only at cost plus any postage
to get them to people. This way I get some cheaper, and I am happy. I
am in Connecticut, USA, so this is where the the payment goes, and
where the resistors come from. Feel free to contact me off list if you
