FYI...

I grabbed the data sheet for the Panasonic SMT parts that digikey sells a while back and gave it a read. One thing that they mentioned is that these parts are delicate. The outside coating forms part of the 'thermal operating properties'. If it gets scratched or damaged in any way the resistor will not operate properly. They talked about how tweezers could scratch the parts and they would not work right. So be careful.
