And when my washing machine failed, they repair guy wanted to swap out the
entire electronics, despite the driver section being the module that had
failed, and these two modules cost in excess of $100 each, as reconditioned
units. I gave him an earful so he left the control module in place. Nothing
wrong with it of course. I already new what had failed because I'd opened up
the machine to look.
