The next time that you encounter scratchy sliders and pots, you might
want to give Caig Labs' CaiLube MCL and related products a try.
CaiLube restores the conductive plastic - it's also for use on carbon
compound pots, designed to lubricate and improve conductivity.  It
appears to be a far more effective solution than contact cleaners sold
by places like Radio Shack.  Check out www.caig.com and make your pots
and sliders happy.
