Have a look at

particularly the shell/joggle type cases. They are a little less expensive 
than the Maplin cases and have the huge advantage of being all-aluminium - 
far easier to work with at home. I can vouch for their quality (Holt have 
supplied cases for a lot of my commercial projects).

As Holt make the cases themselves it is also possible to have them do some 
or all of the punching for you, fit threaded pillars, etc. (but at a price - 
it's perhaps only worthwhile if you need a few rather than just one).
