A friend and I were thinking of this a while back. It's just crazy
nobody has done it yet. Or just zif sockets for crying out loud! I'd
think ther'd be a way to make a socket where you slide the chip in
sideways for instance and it 'bumps' under gold contacts as it slides
until it's all the way in and the contacts touch the apprpriate pins. -Bob
