To all those who emailed me over the weekend...I got your emails....

I am doing several things....I am starting to get quotes from 
distributors.  Right at the moment...I am hoping that Mouser will come 
through...as they are by far the easiest to deal with.

I have also contacted Intersil...to find out exactly what the status of the 
CA3280E is...(in other words...just when is the part going to be axed)...I 
have also asked them if the die is going to be repackaged...and if so, how 
(I sure hope it will get repackaged).  If it is going to get 
repackaged...we can discuss if a panic buy is in order or not.

If all works out as planned...I will probably be making the purchase at the 
soonest one month from now...up to three months from now...depending on 
several factors.

I will keep everybody posted as to the details...

Oh yes...sorry about not getting back to you all sooner...but...I had a 
very busy weekend...the least of which was I rode my bike 100 miles...it 
has been a long time since I rode that far in so short of time...well, over 
three days...so if I wasn't riding...I was sleeping...I just now finished 
going through all the SDIY mail today...:-)
