hey, let me tell you something about lead on buildings.. i live in a
monumental building, sort of art deco style with all these weird shaped
windows, and all the neighbours had leakage for yeeears. they tried
everything to stop water coming in through these diamond and odd shaped
windows.. but nothing helped. then this older window washer guy came to
clean the windows, and he immediately noticed that all the lead strips were
taken off from above all the windows. this was done at the last renovation
in the 70's.. he put some strips back on and hey presto, no more leaks at
all!!
