[sdiy] buying wall warts online

I know it is not online, like you asked for, but most of my wall warts
have come from "trash day" in the city. So many crappy appliances get
tossed out, usually with the wall warts. I have never once found a wall
wart which didn't still work perfectly, but I'd test first! Alas, I no
longer live in the city. Last time I needed a weird wallwart (15v at 1A,
for my RY30) I was in the neighborhood of a Goodwill thrift store, so I
rummaged around and actually found one. Bought it for like 20 cents.
Most wall warts outlast their appliance, so there are many floating
about. I'd never buy one except in an emergency.

Other than that? All Electronics, Electronics Goldmine, Brigar. Not
hard to find them for cheap, but they are somewhat bulky and heavy,
which is reflected in the shipping costs.
