I have seen a variety of tweezers which are supposed to be for
positioning of SMT components. Quite a few choices in soldering tips
and placement tools. Having only soldered a few SMT pieces myself, I
just positioned them be hand with a drop of cyanoacrylate gel. Once the
pieces were in place, the pins were not difficult to solder. Some SMT
stuff does get VERY SMALL though!
