<<Wha? I thought copy machines MADE ozone! Hehe. High intensity lights
and all? >>
Who knows. It was a printer I used to use back in my art direction days.
They spent a fortune getting the place EPA compliant to the new regulations
in print ink solvents, passed that with flying colors and got nailed on
their two copy machines, which were only used by their staff for normal
office use - it wasn't like they were printing quantities for customers.
Santa Monica is tough. It soon to become a non-smoking city...anywhere,
even in private homes. All of LA County is tough-er than the rest of
California, which is one of the most unforgiving states in the US un these
matters. For instance, KK Audio can no longer do their trademark zolytone
speckled paint on their studio cabinetry. Now everything is black. The
county wouldn't even let them complete half-installed custom orders with the
stuff, which was a drag because they had already parts in studios and had to
disassemble, get it back to the factory and into the booth and repainted in
the new color. in that they were already clear coated, it was a mess getting
the new coats to stick.
