That's clear, what I'm unsure about is the LM13700; more specifically if 
or how the Darlington buffer is biased. The other interesting thing to 
know is how different the LM13600 is from the LM13700 and if maybe 
these are just bond out options of each other. The supply currents 
given in the data sheet are not different, for instance.
