[sdiy] Sic Transit OTA Mundi

I just contacted NJR (JRC)

They have no plans to make a copy of the CA3280
at this time.

They DO have the NJR13600 and NJR13700.

Maybe some other folks should e-mail them too... ;^)

On Semiconductor has the NE5517 and NE5517A
which I just got samples of... its maybe slightly
better than the 13600/13700 but is in the same
class.

The CA3280 stands alone as the best OTA (imho)

If we could get a nice quantity buy at a low price
I'd be in. Intersil's price on theie website is OK
but in distribution they are MUCH higher priced.

Maybe I better send Jim Patchell a check before the
feeding frenzy begins

H^) harry
