Mmmm.... Here's a tale.

When I was a lab tech at a school in Newcastle, the sixth formers liked to
reverse charge any big caps they found with a couple of lab batteries. My,
oh, my! Didn't they make a loud bang. Didn't they scatter tiny bits of paper
everywhere. Don't they make the poor lab tech jump out of his skin. :)

Except one day they did it when the floors had just been varnished.

Those little bits of paper are a real b*gger to get off a sticky floor.
