So, if I'm going to purchase an off the shelf power supply to replace some in a couple of my old synths, who are the premium manufacturers? Also, what are the over-voltage protectors and do I need them? They are cheap so I don't mind paying for them if I need it, I just am not quite sure what purpose they serve. Thanks! James
