[sdiy] CA3080s purchased - now available in smaller lots

Tom, fear not I was going to go back and buy the 500 lot since I got
requests for almost 1500 of them for the 1000 that I have.

How about this folks -- Tom and I will work together to distribute to all
those who have sent me mail so far.

Please no more requests as I would say everything that Tom and I both have
is now spoken for and then some. We might have to slightly scale back some
of the biggest orders to have enough to go around. But, basically this was
first come first served.

Concerning shipping cost. Several of you have asked me "how much?" to make
your purchase decision. I am talking bubble pack envelopes shipped first
class air mail, not some expensive courier service. So, it will be cheap.
I'm not going to insure them unless you request it specifically and choose
to pay for it. So, the generic answer is that it will be as cheap as it can
be. That just has to be good enough. If you cannot stand that, send me a
note and tell me you are not interested. Once I get the chips in my hands,
I will pack some, weigh some packages, and start sending out invoices. I
want to make sure I do not get hit with some unforeseen charge since I am
doing this as a not for profit venture.

Is all that OK with you Tom?

Larry

I also bought a 500 lot of these. I'm probably only more convenient for SF
Bay Area members and I'm prepared to sit on them for a year until their
worth 44cents ea so I can make a hhuuuggeee profit. :-)

But seriously, if anyone in the SF Bay area is looking for some CA3080's,
I'll have them eventually. I only want to keep back 100 for my own personal
abuse.
