Do you mean 3.5 mm?  1/8 inchers are hard to find and....1/8th inch patch
cords are a fortune.  The molded Switchcrafts that Buchla uses are
terrific...but an investment.  While 1/8th inch cables are good temp fixes
for the old type CLIFF jack contact spring issue - using 3.5 cables are not
a good idea for 1/8th inch jacks - too much float.  In short, you can use a
3.5 mm as  sub for 1/8 inch, not a good idea the other way around.
